A design change to an existing residence on the harbor — not a new construction. The kitchen and primary bath were reworked in a transitional hand: white oak islands set against white perimeter cabinetry, marble run to the edge, and brushed nickel held to a single line. The bones of the house were kept; only the surface was rewritten.

The Kitchen, Reworked
Movement 01

The Kitchen, Reworked

A U-shaped run opened around a single oak island, the white perimeter cabinetry held to crown molding so the room reads as architecture rather than joinery.

The Island
Movement 02

The Island

A marble counter set on an oak base, the farmhouse sink drawn to the window so the work surface faces the harbor light.

The Run, Held to One Line
Movement 03

The Run, Held to One Line

Integrated refrigeration set into the oak cabinetry wall, the marble carried as a single waterfall edge so the stone reads as one continuous plane.

The Primary Bath
Movement 04

The Primary Bath

A clawfoot tub set before the window, the lower wall clad in marble so the fixture reads as the only object in the room.

The Wet Room
Movement 05

The Wet Room

A glass-enclosed shower held in the same marble, the vaulted ceiling kept so the bath reads as a single volume rather than a collection of fixtures.
